According to IFF regulations, each team is entitled to one 45 minute practice session in the competition venue on the day before the tournament starts.
Once teams move to Ostrava, they will have access to practice sessions in the Ostravar Arena. Each team can train for 45 minutes in Arena A and for 60 minutes in Arena B.
In addition, each team is allowed one 60 minute practice per day free of charge in practice venues. Any additional practice sessions are at the cost of the team. This includes venue hire & transport to/from the venue. If you want to book extra practice session, please contact your Team Guide. We will do our best to satisfy your needs if you need to practice more.
The dressing rooms are available 30 minutes before and after practice. Rinks and goals are managed by LOC, but teams shall bring their own balls and other equipment to practice sessions.
Generally, the practices are closed to the media and the public (except IFF and LOC representatives) and we expect that teams will not watch or record other team’s training sessions. All teams need to be available for media for up to 15 minutes after each training session. If a team decides to open some practice for media or public (e.g. school visits), it is up to each team. LOC should receive this information through the team guide.
Teams are required to go through the Mixed Zone after the practice in the competition venue on 5th December 2025.

Other teams may purchase additional access to the arena, which grants entry to the designated participating tribune. The accreditation card is sufficient for identification during doping control.
At the end of the match, the player will be notified that they have been selected for doping testing, and the procedure will be explained to them. From that moment on, a chaperone will accompany the player at all times until the testing process begins.
Players may have a support person or translator to accompany them to the doping control station. Players under 18 MUST be accompanied by a member of the team staff.
Players must declare on the Doping Control Form (during testing) all substances they are taking — whether prohibited or not.
The testing procedure may take some time, so arrangements regarding transport and meals will be coordinated between the Team Guide and the LOC if needed.
Supplements may contain prohibited substances. You can check products tested for banned substances at informed-sport.com, but please note that no supplement is ever 100% guaranteed to be safe. The final responsibility always remains with the player.
