Practices

Practices

According to IFF regulations, each team is entitled to one 45 minute practice session in the competition venue on the day before the tournament starts.

Once teams move to Ostrava, they will have access to practice sessions in the Ostravar Arena. Each team can train for 45 minutes in Arena A and for 60 minutes in Arena B.

In addition, each team is allowed one 60 minute practice per day free of charge in practice venues. Any additional practice sessions are at the cost of the team. This includes venue hire & transport to/from the venue. If you want to book extra practice session, please contact your Team Guide. We will do our best to satisfy your needs if you need to practice more.

The dressing rooms are available 30 minutes before and after practice. Rinks and goals are managed by LOC, but teams shall bring their own balls and other equipment to practice sessions.

Generally, the practices are closed to the media and the public (except IFF and LOC representatives) and we expect that teams will not watch or record other team’s training sessions. All teams need to be available for media for up to 15 minutes after each training session. If a team decides to open some practice for media or public (e.g. school visits), it is up to each team. LOC should receive this information through the team guide.

Teams are required to go through the Mixed Zone after the practice in the competition venue on 5th December 2025.

    Ticketing and accreditation

Below, you can find detailed information about accreditations and ticketing.

    Team accreditations

According to IFF regulations, each team is entitled to 30 accreditations (20 players + 10 officials) valid for the duration of the team’s participation in the tournament. In addition, each team will receive up to 3 accreditations for emergency list players who are travelling with the team.

All teams will be required to have accreditation to access the competition venues on Friday, December 5th  for practice. All teams will receive accreditation during their practice on Friday, December 5th.  The passports or sporting nationality certificates of all players & photo identification of team officials will need to be presented to collect accreditations.

PLEASE NOTE: ID Cards will NOT be accepted for players – only team officials.

Teams who cannot collect accreditations during this time should contact Jaroslava Fišerová (accreditations@wfc2025.cz) to make alternative arrangements.

Team accreditation allows access to the rink area and team areas, which are dressing rooms and team tribunes, as well as official team transportation.

Accreditations will be valid for all teams until 12 December. They will remain valid for the teams participating in the final weekend matches. Other teams may purchase additional access to the arena, which grants entry to the designated participating tribune. This tribune is in the 2nd category and will be priced according to the first-wave prices.

Teams that will advance to the final weekend will be known on Wednesday, December 10. Teams that are interested in buying tickets must inform their Team Guide until Wednesday, December 10 at 22:00.

    Team officials

Only 5 out of 10 team officials accredited as official team staff can be on the team bench during the matches. The other 5 team staff will have access to A1 in Starez Aréna Vodova  Hala A and to A4 in Ostravar Aréna Hala A. In arenas B in both Brno and Ostrava, there are no assigned seats, so the official team staff may sit wherever they choose.

    Team Media Attachés

Each team is permitted to nominate two accredited media representatives as their Team Media Attachés. In addition to regular media access, Team Media Attachés will be allowed to enter the team dressing room both before and after each of their team’s matches.

The exact timing of dressing room access and the duration of their stay will be determined by the team management.

Team Media Attachés may be print or photo journalists, or members of the National Association’s media staff. Requests for television access to the team will be handled separately by the IFF and LOC.

    Media

    Media

    Media guideline

All teams and players are encouraged to promote the IFF events on social media and to post or share event news, photos, and video clips. However, the following guidelines must be followed:

    • Filming of matches (or any part of them) using cameras, video devices, phones, or tablets is NOT allowed by anyone other than accredited media and the host broadcaster.
    • For the purpose of statistics and player analysis only, tablets and other electronic devices may be used on team benches.
    • Headsets may be used for communication between team staff within the competition venue. Communication with anyone outside the venue is not allowed during any time related to your match.
    • Photos may not be taken from the team bench areas.
    • Use #floorball and the specific tournament hashtag when posting about the event.
    • Using English in your posts helps you reach a wider audience and increases the chance of being shared by the IFF.
    • Be a good ambassador! While using social media is a personal choice, always remember that your behaviour and opinions reflect on the team you represent.

Mixed Zone, interviews and press conferences

The Mixed Zone for media will be arranged and marked according to standard procedures used at major sports events. Coaches and players from both teams are required to exit the court through the Mixed Zone and will be taken in immediately after leaving the Field of Play (no cooling down on the court is allowed).

Rights holders have priority for conducting interviews in the Mixed Zone. All pre-game and post-game interviews (excluding TV interviews) must take place in the rights holder’s interview area or in front of the official WFC 2025 backdrop.

All players are requested to wear their official playing uniform for all interviews in these situations.

    Press Conferences

There will be no press conferences with coaches and players after a match during the event. Please use the Mixed Zone for any interviews you need.

Some organized press conferences may take place. If your team is required to participate in a press conference you will be informed by your Team Guide.  A WFC 2025 press conference will be held on December 5th at 10:30 in Domini Park (Husova 712/14a, Brno), where the new IFF WFC trophy will be revealed. Additionally, an IFF press conference will take place on Sunday, December 14th at 11:30 (venue TBD).

    Player of the Match interviews

The best player of each team will be awarded after every game, and these players will be interviewed by the LOC. Players may bring someone to assist with translation if needed.

    Request for special interviews

Requests for special interviews may occur during the event. A PR manager will be available for participating teams and all accredited media representatives. If there are any interview requests, the PR manager will contact the team leader to coordinate them. Please save the following contact.

    Match recordings

Participating teams are not allowed to record matches using their own cameras. All matches will be recorded by the organizer in two formats: a standard spectator video and a static overhead view intended for coaches.

Match recordings will be available through access to czechfloorball.tv using the email address registered on the platform, or they can be downloaded directly — we will grant access based on the email sent to Dana Zajíčková (zajickova@ceskyflorbal.cz). After each match, the recordings can be downloaded at the Info Point in the arenas, where specially designated high-speed Wi-Fi or a cable connection will be available.

More information and instructions will be given at the 1st Technical Meeting.

Game highlights will be possible to download here.

    Doping controls

The accreditation card is sufficient for identification during doping control.

At the end of the match, the player will be notified that they have been selected for doping testing, and the procedure will be explained to them. From that moment on, a chaperone will accompany the player at all times until the testing process begins.

Players may have a support person or translator to accompany them to the doping control station. Players under 18 MUST be accompanied by a member of the team staff.

Players must declare on the Doping Control Form (during testing) all substances they are taking — whether prohibited or not.

The testing procedure may take some time, so arrangements regarding transport and meals will be coordinated between the Team Guide and the LOC if needed.

Supplements may contain prohibited substances. You can check products tested for banned substances at informed-sport.com, but please note that no supplement is ever 100% guaranteed to be safe. The final responsibility always remains with the player.

Please contact the IFF if you have any questions: antidoping@floorball.sport.
